Artisan Goods – E-commerce Rebuild for Independent Makers

🧠 Project Overview

Artisan Goods sells handcrafted products from independent makers. Their previous store had a clunky checkout and slow mobile performance. We rebuilt the storefront on WooCommerce with a focus on speed, storytelling, and a frictionless checkout.

🎯 Goals

• Reduce checkout drop-off
• Tell each maker's story on product pages
• Improve mobile conversion
• Integrate Stripe and Apple/Google Pay

🎨 UI Design

Editorial product pages, sticky 'Add to Cart' on mobile, single-page checkout, and clear shipping information. Maker stories are surfaced through portrait photography and short bios.

🚀 Outcome

Mobile sales doubled in 60 days. Checkout completion rose by 38% and average order value increased thanks to better cross-sell modules.
