    Signs it is time to redesign

    A redesign done badly can cost you traffic: pages renamed without redirects, headings rewritten, content dropped. A redesign done well keeps what search engines already know about your site and improves everything around it.

    I start by looking at what your site does today: which pages matter, how it performs on a phone and what is stopping visitors from contacting you. Then I give you a clear quote for either a full redesign or a smaller set of fixes, whichever costs you less.

    Protecting your SEO during a redesign

    Keep URLs the same where you can. Where they must change, each old URL gets a 301 redirect to the closest new page. I also compare titles, headings and key content before and after so important wording is not lost.

    No one can promise rankings, and a redesign can move them either way for a while. The steps above are what keep the risk low.
